Cumulative total of 283 COVID-19 cases confirmed in Taiwan; 30 patients released from isolation

The Central Epidemic Command Center reported on March 28 that 888 additional cases related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were reported on March 27. As of writing, a cumulative total of 29,389 cases have been reported among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 26,330. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 283 cases (Cases #268-283 confirmed today). Of 283 confirmed cases in Taiwan, 241 are imported and 42 are indigenous. Of the confirmed cases, there have been 2 deaths, and 30 patients have been released from isolation while the remainder is in a stable condition and remains hospitalized in isolation.
